Hi everyone, 4 days ago I decided to upgrade my macbook pro 13’’ by replacing -the hardrives (128g SSD for the Os + original 512g)
- Ram to 8g 1333mhz
- Battery
- and the keyboard (I had left shift unusable) So it worked fine during 24 hours but after the second battery charge the mac turned off. Right after it was impossible to turned him on. I had to reset the SMC and it worked I got to the login session I typed my password and after loading 70% it turned of again. I tried almost everything during 2 days, replace the original gear that I bought to test every piece but nothing worked. I try to reinstall the OS, it freezes and tuned off again (internet + USB boot). I did almost everything but nothing worked. So yesterday I bought a new mac. Tonight I used the SSD to get my old folders, I put the hardrive back in the old mac and surprise he is now working like before…. Does anyone had this problem before ? or does anyone know why he did that ? Thank a lot sorry for my bad english Update (06/30/2016) Ok so now he bugged again but I think I know what the problem is.. It seems to be the rack for the other hardrive (the one I put in the CD display…) The computer is doing exactly the same thing…. so I put it off the computer doesn’t want to restart normally even after the Pram reset…
Anytime you work on a machine it is always best to do one thing at a time and then test. Doing multiple things at the same time leaves you in question as to what the problems is when it fails. On your machine I would zap the PRAM: Here’s how to reset your PRAM: Shut down your machine. Yes, all the way down, not sleep or logging out. Press the power button and then press command-option-p-r. … Hold those keys down until your Mac reboots again and you here the startup chime. Let go of the keys and let your Mac reboot normally http://thenextweb.com/lifehacks/2010/12/…
