hello everyone my macbook use to turn on with power connected ir wouldn’t charge no all of the sudden it doesn’t turn on it all. when i plug the power cable i get really dim green light hard to see. also opened it up cleaned it took battery out put it back nothing is happening please help. thanks
I would assume a damaged DC-in board… it started with the failure to charge the battery, and progressed (as often electrical problems do) to no providing adequate power. Switching to a new charger MAY be a temporary fix, if the board damaged the charger… however continued use of a good charger will eventually cause it to fail. Since the price of a replacement magsafe board is about 2x that of a new charger replacing the board is the smart, and economical thing to do.
