Chosen Solution
I recently changed my display assembly on my macbook 2016. When closing the lid the computer does not go to seep. I take it out of my backpack only to find the computer verrry hot and the battery drained out. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Abdul
The new lid assembly may not have a magnet inside, to trigger this (so check this). The sleep sensor is on the back of the keyboard under a shield from memory, so make sure this is ok too.
