Hello, My macbook fall about one feet directly on the bottom (realy flat fall) Since, it refuse to boot, when I try, the light on right bottom flashing and nothing… May you help me? (I’ve tried to remove ram and replace but nothing, I’ve looked inside if something was broken but nothing… When I switch off, I ca heard the hard drive is stopping, the screen is always black but not when i switch on, it light a micro second and still black Any ideas? logic board??

Can you find or borrow an external DVD drive to boot from? If you succeed you can run diagnostics from the external drive. Ralph

Hello! Good job in replacing the RAM to troubleshoot! That would have been my first suggestion. It is possible that the sleep sensor was damaged in the fall. It is attached to the battery connector. Try replacing the battery connector/sleep sensor first (make sure to get the correct version for your machine, explained here). If this does not fix the problem, it may be the logic board. Good luck!

Try using only one RAM slot at at time - you might have a damaged slot or RAM. Good Luck, N.

Tryed to move sleep connector but it seems ok and I think its this is the other side who fall first (where the power connector is, sreen, …) The light don’t flashing again, but I heard the HDD switch on but nothing on screen…

Any ideas? How to test if video card dead, screen, or logic board? HDD? without buy each parts? regards
