My macbook is macbook 12 inches 2015 A1534 I just followed the guide of Display replacement, But after that the macbook can’t turn on. I pressed the little battery disconnect button, but i never tried to plug in the power. so I wonder, if i pressed the battery disconnect button, the macbook won’t turn on unless i plug in the power? is that right?
As you could see in the guide, a lower power source is needed to be plugged in to avoid possible damage after you worked on it. I can’t remember if it starts out right from battery after working on it, but however you’ll need a lower power source one way or the other before you can charge it, thus I’d recommend getting a suitable adapter before getting concerned about the outcome of your repair :).
