Macbook air is not turning on. I tried all the steps but of no use sadly. Apple stores is asking to pay 48 k +3k (service charge it seems) for mother board replacement. Can anyone help me
Make sure the MagSafe charger is in good shape and is the correct one (not use fakes!) Apple Portables: Troubleshooting MagSafe adapters. What is the color of the MagSafe chargers LED - Amber or Green? Next I would pop the bottom cover off and carefully disconnect the battery. Then plug in the MagSafe charger did the system spontaneously start up? If it did then your battery needs replacing. If not you’ve got a deep problem in your system. Do you see any staining or corrosion? Did you spill a liquid into your keyboard or Trackpad? Did you sit your system down on a wet surface or get it wet in a rain storm?
