Chosen Solution
When I have my MacBook Air 13” (mid-2013) it will randomly shut off about 75%. The battery icon says service and I’ve attached the Coconut Battery screenshot. I know it’s a several years old at this point so if I need to replace, just let me know. Thanks for the help!
Service batteries may show all sorts of issues, including sudden shutdowns especially when peak power is required by the system. A replacement would probably be all you need and surely the first step to take in this case.
