with MagSafe plugged in The Battery has 60 cycles and the MacBook turns off when not plugged in, the battery is detected as normal, resetting smc or PRAM didn’t help, any advice?
Well thats not good ;-{ On the main logic board is a set of MOSFET’s which switch the power draw from either the MagSafe or the battery. In this case the switch logic is stuck so only the MagSafe pathway is working, either charging the battery or running the system, it won’t allow battery power. You’ll need to either find someone with the needed skills to fix the logic board or replace it.
