I having backlight issues. I have researched all over the internet with no luck on finding the location of the backlight fuse. Everything else works great on the computer besides barely being able to see the screen. I have all the necessary tools as well as a donor board to take parts from. I’m just unable to locate the fuse! If anyone has any further information on this motherboard it would be greatly appreciated. Getting Frustrated! Been without my poor MacBook for 3 months! I’ve replaced the LCD and LCD cable (3 times!) Can anyone help?

There is your backlight fuse, bottom side near the graphic chip. By the way, it’s a MacBook Unibody, not the MacBook Pro.

To add to Arbaman’s answer. The fuse on on the backside of the logic board here’s a more inclusive image for reference (green circle). The fuse will either have a white dot or the letter ‘P’ on it:

in addition to what ha been said, I had the same problem and I fixed it very easily. Since I had no fuse ready at the moment, I just decided to short it since I had some very important and urgent data that I had to extract. If you can’t afford the repair, try the shorting.
