Chosen Solution

Hello, I have a 2011 macbook which worked super well with 16GB of RAM. now one of the slots is damaged and the difference in speed is very noticeable. Can I put 16GB in one slot? Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately no, you can’t do that and as far as I know 8GB is the maximum size available for a DDR3 SO-Dimm 204 pin RAM module, that is the one you would need.
