My charger blew up the magsafeport (short circuit). I ordered a new one and installed it. Everything works fine but the screen has problems. The backlight works ok but there is no image. I am using an external monitor and i can see : Color LCD: Display Type: LCD Resolution: 1680 x 1050 Pixel Depth: 32-Bit Color (ARGB8888) Mirror: On Mirror Status: Hardware Mirror Online: Yes Built-In: Yes Maestro243DL: Resolution: 1920 x 1080 @ 50 Hz Pixel Depth: 32-Bit Color (ARGB8888) Display Serial Number: D280C0064021 Main Display: Yes Mirror: On Mirror Status: Master Mirror Online: Yes Television: Yes but the screens stays black. I tried all possible resets ( Pram / Nvram , SMC ) I checked the cables inside and everything seems fine. Sleep mode activates and deactivates the lcd backlight normally. I searched the net for every piece of info about this and the only conclusion is that something in the logic board was damaged along with the magsafe port. Thanks!
You have to check the damage near to Display Jack on the Logic Board . Post the Snaps of Area near by jack of Display . if everything looks fine . Try to reinstall the logic board. Check it other wise have to check with new display panel. If display comes with new display panel then fine. After this we have to replace the logic board or repair it.
