Hello, @arbaman @reecee @refectio and other experts! Recently I received a dead MacBook 2015 12”. When I connect charger, no chime no image, no backlight. I tried measure every power line with multimeter, but I found missing voltage only on PP5V_S0SW_LCD, PP5V1_S4SW and PP1V05_S4SW linesI use my ThermoCam and compared the thermo image with good working board but images look the same. So I think there is problem only with image and backlight (maybe)I disconnect everything and connected a known good display but does not helpI preventatively replaced U4700 but no change On the internet I found, than a lot of people have same issue with this model. Is here any way how to fix? Thanks :) board number is 820-00045
I haven’t much experience on A1534 boards unfortunately, I have a dead board around for a few months now but haven’t had the time to get deeper into it. Do you have an adapter you can try to plug into an external screen to help you point in the right direction ? The missing enable for backlight might be your issue indeed.
Sadly, I think your best option is to replace the logic board MacBook 12" Retina (Early 2015) Logic Board.
