Please help I have tried everything! My MacBook Air won’t charge even though the light on the charger stays green, it doesn’t charge when plugged in. I have replaced the battery, the DC-in board and the logic board. Tried SMC reset multiple times with no avail… just the same problem. No idea what else to try?! Update (06/06/2020) Ok. So my Mac stopped charging, the charger light would turn green when plugged in to the Mac but it would report as not charging and the battery would continue to go down. At this point I did the SMC reset which worked for a while but the problem happened again and the SMC reset wouldn’t fix it. I then replaced the battery to see if this would help. Plugged charger back in and it showed as orange but once unplugged and plugged back in again the same thing happened and it stayed green but didn’t charge. I then replaced the DC-in board. Same problem. I then replaced the main logic board. Still no change. Any ideas ?
it is probably old and the battery needs to be replaced
