Hi everyone, I have a late 2013 macbook pro which will not power on. The macsafe light would not turn on: Some stats Macbook Pro working fine and then just”turned off” one day while wife using itOpened up macbook and disconnected the power to the battery. Waited a few hours. Connected the magsafe then it would turn on and boot normally.Assuming it was the battery I reconnected the battery and turned it on the next dayWorked for a small amount of time then would turn offRemoved battery connection again.. waited and then reconnected power (green light would turn on)Turn on and would get the grey apple with a progress barComputer turns off after a few minutes. Magsafe no longer powers Tried SMC Reset Any ideas? Thanks

Can get the system to work with just the MagSafe charger? Apple Portables: Troubleshooting MagSafe adapters and you know the charger is good and the MagSafe connection are clean and in good shape? Then I would suspect your logic board has an issue. I should point out the age of your system also puts your battery in question.
