Hello, if anyone can help? I have a MacBook Air that keeps shutting down half way through the boot process. I am forced to press the spacebar and hold or tape it down in order for the laptop to boot. I am thinking could be the power button stuck or something but I tried cleaning and nothing. any ideas how I could fix it? thanks,
Its a bit of work! You can replace the keyboard MacBook Air 13" (Late 2010) Keyboard or if you don’t want to go that deep the easier way is just replace the full uppercase MacBook Air 13" (Late 2010) Upper Case with Keyboard iFixit is currently out of stock but its so much easier!
