Hi, I have a mac book pro 13" Mid 2009 model. The problem that I am facing is that when i switched the internal drive to upgrade the hard drive, both hard drives stopped being recognized, although i can boot up from an external usb the internal drives wont boot up from startup. There is no error message and the apple logo with the spinning wheel keeps spinning. Please help me what to do . I have checked with taget mode and sometimes it works on the other macbook and sometimes is doesnt.
Start up from your system installation DVD “C” key. Go to the second screen pull down menu to Utilities > Disk Utility. Select your drive in the left hand column. Format the drive an give it one partition. Quit Disk Utilities and continue with the system installation. Now restart holding down the Option key and select the drive you installed to. Let us know your results and we can go from there.
