My Mac gets really hot, so much so that it can’t be touched. The hot spot is just above the keyboard close to the hinge. I took the back over off and turned the Mac on and the area in the circle is the hot spot. It becomes that way almost immediately after the computer comes on. Both the fans are running. What is that area and what can I do about the heat?
Thanks, Mike
There seems to be a lot of dust in your MacBook Pro. I would dust it off with compressed air, remove the heatsink, replace the thermal paste, clean the fans and the fins at the fans output. Also, looking at your photo, the battery is bulging so you’ll need to replace it.
