Hi. I’m using mac osx lion. my mac freeze at apple logo and spining wheel. I try everything, command+s, command+p+r, option and shift. It doesn’t change anything. I took out the batteries and hang it for 1 day, but its still stuck. The worse when I check into applecare website, they said command+v and see if there is some text written “library….” then I can restart and back to normal, but I can’t find the text its not there. I don’t want to lose all my data. I haven’t backup anything yet. Someone please help!
Start up holding down the “R” key till the Apple logo appears. This will allow you to get to Disk Utilities. Run it on your hard drive and see if it will do the repair for you.
Hi, All, I was having this issue, mac freeze at apple logo and spining wheel. i tried all options mentioned in different forums. til i found this one which fixed error & let me into OS. then i did a repair & found several problems with applications & repaired them. solution: Start up holding down the “R” key. thanks Mayer 172.8k. hope this helps you.
