Chosen Solution
Hello everyone, Since last night I’ve been having some problems with my Mac. I plug in the charger, the lightning bolt icon appears on the battery icon however when i click on it, it says “battery is not charging”. There is also no orange light on the head of the charger. I ran Coconut battery and heres what it says:
I should add that the “discharging with” figure drops to 0 watts in about 1 minute. I’m trying to figure out if the problem is with the battery or with the charging circuit. Any help or suggestion would be highly appreciated. (I’ve already tried resetting the SMC) Thank you.
