Hi, I have a piece of history… A1297 17inch mid 2010 first gen i7 It has the aluminium bezel… just coming from mobo repair as the gone bad LVDS cable caused a bit of havoc around the connector. My question: the aluminium bezel on top of actual LCD panel - is that glued or clipped in? Can’t seem to find much…they are rare compared to usual glass covered panels. https://www.reddit.com/r/ufc210corand/
The Silver bezel edge is glued to the glass. I just did one last week.
