My Lower Screen on my Nintendo DS is broken, and seems shattered from the inside. As if someone stepped on it. I haven’t played with it, let alone looked at it in years. What parts are broken, and what parts will I need to fix it? Update (03/20/2018) It is actually a DS lite*
Hi @hahnuh , Hopefully only the lower LCD / touchscreen is the problem. Here is a link to the ifixit Nintendo DS Lite Lower LCD Replacement guide. The guide also lists what tools are required to effect the repair. Use this guide to inspect the rest of the device to see if there is any further damage to the device and then it is for you to decide whether a repair is worthwhile or not Here is a link to suppliers of the replacement part. It is not a recommendation to use any of them. It is shown to give an idea of the cost of the part. There are other suppliers online that may suit you better. Just search for Nintendo DS Lite LCD replacement part. Hopefully this is of some help.
