Chosen Solution

I have high suspicion that the problem lies on the circled part in the image. I’ve nudged the wires around and found out that a brief moment of audio comes back when I ‘push’ the wires together around the circled area. Is there anything I can do to fix it?

I got the solution from reddit, I followed it after watching some videos about wire splicing Cut the cable in half at the break.Stripped the fabric outside of the cable, 1.5 cm on both sides.Striped the inner black insulating cable, about 1cmSeperated wires, one green, one copper NOTE: remember the green ones!Slightly untwist the ends of the metal wiresUsing a lighter, light the tips of the exposed wire NOTE: first time it will catch on fire and run up the cable, blow it out before it reaches the black insulated part, green colour will fade!Repeat 6 about 3-4 times. Alternate wires. STOP if you see small balls forming at the end of the wire. Never hold the fire on it for more than 2 secondsCombine green and copper wires back into two neat bunchesTwist both ends with the right colours of the other side sideTIGHLTY wrap with seperate wires once with electrical/insulating tapeTest headsetWrap another layer of electrical/insulating tape around the two newly connected wires, combining themRe-assemble headsetHope this can be of help to people
