Unit is 2 years old with light use. Battery is fully charged, however unit is working properly only for bout 20-30 seconds after that seams to be losing power. Powering on and off the unit gives another 20 seconds of use. By switching on and off it can function like this for some time.
Thanks everyone for your feedback! Replacing the batteries solved the problem in my case. Original batteries weren’t available when I was searching. I managed to swap the batteries with the “SAMSUNG-30Q-18650-3000-FLAT“. So far everything works perfectly.
@soryn this sounds like a battery that is starting to fail. It may charge but does not hold a charge. I’d replace the battery and then re-evaluate. Black and Decker Pivot MAX Battery Replacement
Its normal that after 2 years of charging/recharing , bateries lost its performance. But it`s no problem to exchange beteries. In this vacum model you need to buy any Li-Ion 18650 bateries (5 pieces for 18V model) . You need to remember only, to buy orginal bateries: (LG, Panasonic, Samsung etc). LG are dedicated for this modl but can be any other Lithium !! Capacity between 2500 - 3500 mAh Vacum has biulded BMS module only for this king of bateries. Exchange is very simple for each person who have basic knowledge about electronics or buildings RC battery package.

The 18650 Li-ion is becoming very common and can be purchased even at Walmart. However be sure to buy them with the proper terminal for your use. The standard ‘D’ or ‘AA’ ends that fit into a holder like a flashlight or TV remote shold not be used in a tool that requires a ‘tab’ on the battery for soldering to a wire. BG
