Chosen Solution
Hello, My K key on the keyboard was replaced after it kept falling off the keyboard. The key is very loose the if not struck in the correct location, the key will fall off or turn sideways. How do I fix this? Is it the scissor mechanism? I’m really good with MacBooks but this one stumps me. Thanks!
Could be the scissors mechanism was damaged. I had a 2015 in with broken pins and had to replace it. Also when I got it in, it was very difficult to replace because previous attempts had bent the underlying metal support plate down from people pressing the key down to hard.
