Hello I am looking for a patch of some sort my Black hole duffel has a hole on the bottom. Anything direct from Patagonia? Or should i use Gorrilla tape they sell on TV?
Oren Tuvia, You could try gorrilla tape but may not last as long/look quite as nice as a good sewn on patch. Check out the link below, sounds similar to your bags mishap. Link shows they found like material and had it double stitched on(looks like a nice repair). If not wanting to patch your self take into a good local sewer/seamstress and have them estimate and patch. https://www.facebook.com/santacruzgearre…
If anyone lives near the water, check if there is a sail maker nearby. They all stock these terrific repair tapes; light nylon ripstop in multiple colors, and heavier woven fabrics in white, tan, black, etc. All have one-time adhesive already on the back. Most places would just give you a small piece to repair gear - maybe a 6pack or a box of donuts will seal the deal for sure.
I have recently used Patagonia’s Repair Service https://wornwear.patagonia.com/ I was delighted by the quality and promptness. Previously, I had gone to Rainy Pass in Seattle and they patch my Burro Bag . http://rainypass.com/
You can also take or ship to Bare Boulder in Lafayette, Colorado. They do excellent work on soft good repairs
