I could not get my MacBook Pro to start back up, I was due for a new one so I got a new MacBook Pro. I took the drive out of the old one and put in a Mini that I have so that I could copy off the user account and other data. When taking the Mini apart the ZIF cable lock that holds the audio cable to the board at the back of the dvd drive broke. I am looking to either get another ZIF cable lock to hold the cable in or another board with the ZIF cable lock attached. This was my first mini that I took apart and I wasn’t gentle enough with this connector. IFIXIT do you sell this part? Regards, Mark
I have successfully taped ZIF connectors in place- though it can sometimes need to be readjusted.
