My 6 plus was almost destroyed completely after it got bent. I have taken out all the components out and ordered a new housing. Everything seems to be fine but the logic board. The bottom and second to last bottom pieces have come almost completely disconnected and are only being held together by a little wire on the side. Is my logic board a lost cause? I have so many pictures and videos on it
It is almost impossible to transplant the chips, especially for iPhone 6. For some reason the board is almost completely impossible to rework. If you do wish to try anyway, I recommend transplanting the CPU, NAND memory, baseband, baseband EEPROM, NFC controller and a chip called “anti-rollback EEPROM” on the schematics. Also get the original home button connected to the board, somehow all these chips are cryptographically paired together and the phone is likely to refuse to boot if one of these chips are not paired with others.
Uh well, ya see. Sorta. If you have lots of experience in mirco soldering, this could be ok. You have all the parts from your old board, so you could buy a bare board, their pretty cheap, about $10. So you could potentially migrate those parts from your old board, to the new one. I can’t say, cause I haven’t seen a picture of your board, but I’m guessing it’s shot
