I’m planning on doing a repair to my Logic Board and note that the iFixit guide for removing the Logic Board requires removal of the right speaker, which is affixed to the case with adhesive. See step 29: MacBook Air 13" Early 2015 Logic Board Replacement Do I really need to remove the speaker? It looks like the Logic Board can be removed without actually doing so. And if removal is really needed — do I need to re-apply adhesive and if so which adhesive should I use?
The speaker blocks the logic board from sliding out of the case!
The little adhesive foam used is more a seal around the speaker cone to the case as you can see here, Slowly lift will allow the adhesive to release so you don’t need to replace it.
