Chosen Solution

Old macbook from the missus, previously had no battery power being plugged in, no charger light. Opened and took logic board out found slight damage on the logic board.

Seems its peeled abit behind that and cleaned the corrosion off already. on the back side of the laptop had corrosion on this part

cleaned that off and now about to see whether the laptop will charge or not. My question is does it look like any of these chips need to be replaced? Looking at the batteries they seem fine on the actual laptop.

by cleaning with the isopropyl alcohol i was able to work the laptop back and now have power into it. At first it did not boot up, so I did the whole hold down the power for 10 seconds then plugged in the charger, now i have a working mac!
