Hi there, fixed my phone after some minor waterdamage. i got a completely working phone but there is always thiss ONE little guy who ruins the party. http://i.imgur.com/y89xLfr.jpg my problem is the connector just “disappeared” and i’m left with the middle pin and the cable. Since i couldnt find a replacement connector - is there any way to fix/solder this myself? do i need GND here? would it be enough to just solder and connect the signal pin in the middle? any advice is appreciated thanks!
looks like you have a pad to solder to on the logic board so flux it and carefully solder the connector to the solder pad making sure to not use to much solder and make a mess of the surrounding connectors.
