Hi, My logic board is faulty and while searching for replacement, I found that they are some variations in the models. I know my computer has the 820-2828-a, but I found on ebay these 2 other variations, 661-5950 or 661-5949 I don’t know what these number refer to, and if either of them are compatible with my iMac mid 2011, EMC 2429, A1312. I would appreciate some help, Thanks, E
What you are seeing is the just different Apple P/N’s for the different options for the 2011 27” iMac. 661-5948 - 2.7GHz, Quad-Core i5661-5949 - 3.1GHz, Quad-Core i5661-5950 - 3.4GHz, Quad-Core i7 The first two are i5 CPU’s and the last one is a i7 CPU.
