Hi, I have a customer’s Galaxy s5 and the screen is not functioning. She doesn’t want to replace the screen because she is getting a new phone, but needs pictures and video off of it. I tried the OTG HDMI w/mouse trick and that didn’t work. Any ideas of how I can get this thing unlocked to access the data? Thanks. Brandon
I got the OTG device to work with a keyboard to enter the code and it worked like a charm. No need for the HDMI at all.
Without unlocking the phone you wont be able to recovery it.
