Chosen Solution
I got in a A1107. Just fan noise on startup. Did the usual battery tests, AC stuff, SMC, tried PRAM reset to no avail. Removed hard drive for data recovery and get flashing lights on my universal adapter but cannot access the hard drive. My thinking is that this faulty hard drive may have prevented booting. Can someone confirm this? Also are there power jumper pads on this machine and where are they located?
