Hi. Shaking gently my Iphone 4 i can hear a little sound as like a screw, which isnt fixed. Pressing the "sleep button" on top of the device and shaking it, the sound isnt hearable. Do you have an idea wherefrom this sound comes? Thanks. Gabriel

Gabriel, I tested this with an iPhone 4, the sound that you are hearing when you shake your phone is in fact just the sleep button itself. This is why the noise goes away when you hold the sleep button in place. You in fact don’t need to push the button down all the way to stop the noise, you can just hold the button still with your finger. This seems to be true of all iPhone 4’s - there’s nothing loose, or wrong with your phone at all. Good catch though!

It could be the iPhone’s vibrator that you hear when you shake it.

in my teardown, the same sound continues but is coming form the logic board, under the EMI shields, toward the bottom!!??!!

I think it is the camera lens, since this is autofocus, mine is doing it too also when I put it on the table.
