There is a little on and off switch by my hood latch on my 1994 mustang it’s my first car just wondering what it does

@pocketmonkey If the switch is hidden it may be an immobilizer switch . With it on does the car start? if not question answered. Hope this helps

It’s not stock someone put it there for some reason or another. Trace the wiring down and see what it goes to.
