early 2011 17" unibody Macbook pro 2.3 GHz intel core i7 The kids won’t fess up to exactly how liquid got into my mac but i noticed liquid in it when i took the back off. It wouldn’t charge or boot up at all so i removed the logic board and cleaned it. I got it to charge and boot up but only a few keys work properly and there is a band running through the monitor and it is making a strange sound like a (musical)horn the mouse will bounce around and other sporadic glitches. any easy way to fix it?

Try using an external USB keyboard and see which issues persist. Let us know your results. If you don’t have an external backup drive, get one and back up your hard drive ASAP. Sounds like a minimum of an upper case replacement. Use water boarding to extract information from the kids about what and how much liquid got into it: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Waterboard… If waterboarding seems to extreme, here are 10 other forms: http://www.howstuffworks.com/five-forms-… or you can just give them some cookies and coach the info out of them.
