Chosen Solution
I´m trying to repair a friend´s iPhone 4 that has been lying front down over night in a pool of beer with the charger plugged in. The dock connector had visible corrosion so I changed the whole dock with flex cable to a brand new. I cleaned out the logic board and got it running in my test phone. I also switched and checked the whole frond inc. lcd and digitizer and switched the battery. So, Logic board works fine, screen works fine, battery works fine but it wont start in the beer damaged chassis. Any sollution !?
i had the problem before, the fault was the power button flex, if i plugged it in, i couldn’t star the phone. tried to turn on the phone wit the flex not connected et voila! it worked hope this helps
