I dropped my Nintendo 3ds xl in a foot bath a while back and when it’s turned on the screens will not turn on. It charges and it powers on, I can hear the sound just fine, but i’m Very worried. Nobody will help me fix it and every time I have somebody else look at it they say they can’t help me. That my best bet is to buy a new one, it was a gift from my father and I don’t want to get rid of it. Please help.
@bkbell96 could be corrosion as well as shorted out components. Also, you may need to replace the LCD’s. Once you disassemble it using this guide Nintendo 3DS XL Motherboard Replacement You really have to take a look at the circuit board etc. Clean the board with some 90%+ isopropyl alcohol and post some good images of it with your question.
