I have an iPad Air that has horizontal lines all through the screen. The sreeen also flickers on and off rendering the iPad useless. I just put a new LCD and digitizer and it’s doing the same thing. Any ideas on what could still be causing this?

Was this the original problem, or did this happen after a repair for something else, like a broken digitizer? My initial thought would be that this is a bad LCD. However if it worked before and only went bad after a repair, I would look at the LCD connector on the logic board to see if it is damaged or if there are any missing components in line with the LCD drive circuitry.
