I have a pod x3 live and i am wondering how well this would work as an audio interface when recording with garageband 11. my concerns are compatability, latency, and the overall sound quality of the recording. 1:does a firewire connection yield superior sound quality? 2: what is the most important component of a home studio that yields the best sounding recording? (other than the musicians). Is it the DAW, interface, or plug-ins? 3: can I get away with recording with GB and my line 6 if I outsource my final mixdowns and mastering to someone with much better equipment and experience?
