Hello! I was replacing touch screen on my iphone 7 when i was finished i tried to charge my phone after minute or two nothing was happening so i once more opened the phone and noticed some think in the connector has liquefied and then solidified. I don’t know why is that. Can somebody please explain this ? Update (05/25/2018)
I can’t see what you are referring to. Do you mean this?
That’s just epoxy to protect the passive components soldered onto the flex. Did you disconnect the battery first before removing your screen? Go back through this guide and double check your work.
