my buddy had his house hit by lightning, and these blue cluster of pixels started to form horizontal lines at the top of the screen. It was starting from the left side and moving it’s way to the right. I assume the lightning was the cause of this, but i can’t figure out what could have caused these lines, what part became faulty, and do you think it was from the lightning strike/power surge. thank you. kind on a short time frame as well. any help would be greatly appreciated.
@gajaundi this could be a t-con board error. Hard to say. I would remove the back and take a look at the boards. Check for blown, domed capacitors as well as other components. Post pictures of the boards with the original question. Thus will not be an easy fix since it is difficult to get a TCL service manual so you will have to rely on what you find…
