Yesterday, my iPhone 6 suddenly showed a very bright spot on the LCD, and a dark stripe below it. Half a day later, the screen has bent forward, so much that there is now a gap between the back and the screen of about a millimeter wide, around the volume buttons. Any idea what this issue is? Is it worth trying to replace the screen?
Looks like a swollen battery and a broken screen… open it and see if the battery is fatter than its supposed to be. Always use a Genuine Apple plug and good quality lightning cables.
