Chosen Solution
As the title states. I have tried resetting the tv by holding down the power button, I have replaced the main board and still the same problem. I can see the led strips do works through the small holes on the back of the tv. There are no domed capacitors on the power supply board, i dont think the tv would stay on if it was the power supply board. Please help.
Steph … this sounds like a failed tcon board. This is why you are seeing just a blue screen. to test: unplug one side of the ribbon cable from the tcon board at a time. Lvds from main board leads to tcon board. may be under metal plate. at the bottom of the tcon board there are two ribbon cables that lead to your lcd displays buffer boards) power off, unplug left side. power on. check picture. power off, reinsert ribbon on left and unplug ribbon on right, power on check picture.
