After several years of very successful use, my multifunctional device slowed to a snails pace when printing anything. It takes over 4 minutes, for example, to print a test page. What could be the problem? The device is running the latest firmware. Thanks, Anna
HOW TO FIX LEXMARK GENESIS SLOW PRINT I have also had a lot of problems with slow printing of and on. Never had time to look into the problem until now.
- First try closing network/wifi connection via the display on the printer.
- Power off the printer.
- Close any wifi or other network connections you have been using for the printer. Like a router, mobile device etc.
- Use the USB cable ONLY for printer connection. Now power the printer on again.
- Make sure the wifi-icon on the display HAS the yellow triangle warning. If not start over again from top.
- Test printing again. If the problem persists update drivers etc.
