Hi Guys, I just bought a new customized MacBook Pro 13" with Touch Bar… I have a brief question - I recognized that the bottom plate of the MacBook does not fit perfect left and right next to the display mounting. Its a bit uneven and can be pressed in. Additionally its sharper then on other MacBooks…. Has anyone experience with it? Is it somehow bad? - I used to go to the apple store and they just said that its probably not fixable. They offered me to refund me but that would mean 2 Weeks with our a macbook… Thanks in advance for your thoughts! Cheers Philip
The images look like the center clips didn’t get set which is why the center is bowed out. While this is the Function Key model, the lid is taken off in the same way: MacBook Pro 13" Function Keys Late 2016 Lower Case Replacement. But before you open your system I would strongly recommend you visit an Apple Store in the UK. Technically ‘Apple Europe’ includes Germany so I don’t see why they would give you a hard time. It would be different if you came here in the US. They should be able to reseat the bottom cover. If you damaged the system or tried to open it you could find your self without coverage.
