dropped and shatter the digitizer and LCD will not come up, I can hear the ipad beep when I plug it in. The alarm that I had set is still beeping so I think the board is still good. I replaced the LCD and digitizer but the LCD just doesn’t power up.
Try hard reset–power button plus home for 10 sec. If no, power off. Reseat LCD connector carefully. Power on. If no, try lifting board from battery pins by unscrewing it –follow a guide to remove motherboard. If no, look for faint image under strong light–if you can see image, send out iPad for backlight repair. Jessa
