So I damaged my screen by dropping the computer and now I am wondering if I can replace JUST the LCD or do I have backlight problems here? I saw that one can buy the LCD screen for $50-60, but it doesn’t even come with a backlight. Alternatively, if I sell, how much is a fair asking price for an A1370 11" 4 GB SSD 128 GB SSD with OSX 10.8? I’m seeing Air’s with similar damage going for up to $600 on Ebay, but I want to be realistic.
mikeyswen79, this will depend on you own comfort level. Here is the guide for it. Replacing the display should not give you any backlight issues after. A fair price would be whatever somebody is willing to pay for it:-)
