I recently replaced the glass and digitizer (pre installed package). Now, after reassembly, the screen does not respond as it should. When I try to touch a particular app, the app to the left of the one I touched is activated. I can’t even activate the botoom apps. Any suggestions? Do I need to replace the LCD?
It is not your LCD. This is usually caused by your digitizer. You can try a restore and see if that makes a difference. If not, reopen your iphone and check all the connectors in particular Cable 2 Touchscreen sensor and home button. Make sure it is connected properly and straight. Good Luck
