Hi guys, It’s been a while my MacBook’s screen was flickering but I could fix if by change the position of the screen. From 2 days it’s now impossible, my screen is always flickering unless I hold it with une hand ans pinch it (which is not convenient aha) I read threads about display câble or inverter cable but I’d like your expertise. As you can see on the pictures the screen is ok if I pinch it or press the hinge. Thx for your help!

Pressing on the side of the display implies your LCD has a TAB error where the vacuum deposited metal surface and the ribbon cable which carries the signal to the driver board has come detached. If pressing is no longer improving things I think its time to look at replacing the display assembly. Here’s the IFIXIT guide: MacBook Pro 13" Unibody Mid 2012 Display Replacement Once off you could pop off the clutch cover to try reseating the display side cable connection to see if by chance its just loose. This solves the backlight flicker but not the display flicker.
